  • showcases the works of accomplished and emerging Virgin Islands artists in free exhibits supported by public grants
  • provides a mix of grant supported, after-school and summer programs, teaching our youth cultural heritage art forms that stimulate the growth of future artists and craftsman
  • offers instructional art workshops in a variety of mediums to students of all ages and talents
  • provides free seminars, forum, and lectures to the public and local artists

Regionally

  • has been promoting Caribbean art and artists for fourteen years in the publication and distribution of Art and Soul Calendar
  • provides the vehicle to showcase uniquely Caribbean art and culture, forging the gap between Caribbean island through CMCArts-sponsored invitational exhibits,installations and museum exchange programs
  • has become a shared space where artists from throughout the Caribbean, collaborate with fellow artists and explore Caribbean cultural heritage and history

Internationally

  • attracts artists, curators, and historians from around the world, through the grant-supported CMCArts Artist in Residence program
  • provides an outlet for visiting artists to share their talents and heritage, making St. Croix an international artist destination
