CMCArts Teens

The Film Over Gun Violence summer program is a complete hands-on indie filmmaking experience focused on bringing awareness to gun violence and its prevention in our community. From the story to filming, students will create their very own short film addressing the gun violence issue. Along the way they’ll learn skills and techniques used in film, broadcasting, and communication industries from local professionals. After the film is created it will premiere on a red-carpet screening celebration at CMCArts. Participants will receive 1 academic credit for completing the program.
