Friday, November 14 6:00pm-8:00pm CMCArts Courtyard Register: Space is limited. Combo price: 1 child (Age 7 & up) + 1 Adult **You can add an additional child in the drop down price menu . Whether it’s your first time working with clay or you’ve already made a few creations, this workshop is all about having fun together as a family. Guided by our instructor, you’ll learn simple pottery techniques while enjoying the creative process side by side. Each adult and child team will design and decorate up to 5 unique Christmas ornaments. Once finished, the ornaments will stay at the museum to dry, receive a clear glaze, and be fired in the kiln. We’ll notify you when they’re ready for pickup—typically within two weeks. ✨ No experience necessary—just bring your imagination and holiday spirit! ✨ Add an additional child for just $5, which includes materials for 3 more ornaments. Instructor: Donna Prock Donna Rae is the founder and creative force behind St. Croix Pottery, a studio born from a deep passion for the craft and a journey of personal transformation. She first discovered pottery in 2018, falling in love with the creative process of shaping clay. In 2020, Donna's mother joined in the artistic journey, inspiring a deeper connection to the craft. After her passing in 2021, Donna took a brief pause to reflect and honor her memory. Retiring from a distinguished military career in 2022, Donna chose to follow the call of the heart, returning to pottery with renewed purpose. St. Croix Pottery was born out of this fresh start. Today, her work reflects a balance of form, function, and deep personal meaning. Each piece carries a story—shaped by both the hands and the heart. Through St. Croix Pottery, she continues to explore new techniques, celebrate creativity, and honor the memory of a shared artistic journey with a mother who will always be an inspiration.
