The Art Show 2022


The Artists Guild of St. Croix appreciates your interest in participating in the ART SHOW 2022. We are pleased that this year the show will last over a month and will be on display during the Festival. By changing some requirements and deadlines we will are able to facilitate online sales by CMCA which have been successful in selling to a wider audience. Please read and follow the prospectus carefully because requirements for participation, submission options and deadlines have changed for 2022.  All deadlines and requirements must be met to insure your participation.

ELIGIBILITY:    All visual artists who are 2022 members (dues paid by December 1, 2021 for 2022) in good standing of the Artists Guild of St. Croix.

ENTRY DEADLINE:  Dec 1, 2021

ORIGINALITY & PRINTS:  We welcome 2D and 3D art in all media. All entries must be original work completed within the last year and not previously shown for sale on St. Croix. Please note that any work sold before the show will result in forfeiture of a place in the show. Copies and reproductions of original works of Art, whether embellished or not, are not eligible for submission. However, prints, such as photographs, lithographs, woodcuts, engravings, etching, screen prints and digital works are acceptable as long as they are labeled as such and numbered as an edition.


IMAGE SUBMISSION: DEC 1  Images of artwork must be a jpeg format (will also use for on line show & sales) and should include the title, size, medium, price and artist name. The images must correlate with the inventory list provided on the CMCA Artist Form. Images must be emailed to artguildstx@gmail.com  by December 1. 2021. Please put The Art Show in the subject line.

One work of art from 14 different islands will be beautifully printed and bound together in the 2022 Island Art & Soul Calendar

For 27 years, CMCArts, Inc. has produced the Art & Soul Calendar. The calendar has historically featured fine artists working in 2D and more specifically watercolor and other painting mediums including photography. For our 28th edition, we are looking to represent 14 different artists from 14 different islands of the Caribbean.

CMCArts, Inc. is inviting you to submit up to 4 images but no less than 2 for inclusion in this year's calendar. Deadline for submission is 08/01/21. All mediums ae welcome.

The calendar has 14 image opportunities that coincide with each month of the year as well as the cover and January 2023. Please keep the submissions family friendly.

A jury panel will select the 14 images to be printed in the calendar. No more than 1 image per artist will be selected. This year we would prefer to select artists from 14 different regions of the Caribbean.

The following information will be required once your application has been submitted:

Professional Quality photograph of your work is needed. If you do not meet the requirements below, your work will not be considered.

Minimum 300 DPI  

Minimum Image Dimensions 10.5" x 13"

No watermarks

A small profile style picture of yourself
