V.I. as in Victory: A short film celebrating the uniqueness, the victories, and the people of the U.S. Virgin Islands and their National soil.
As part of CMCArts' Dialogues of Freedom series, this evening brings together farmers, artists, filmmakers, researchers, and community members to explore the connections between soil, food, culture, and place. Through the premiere of VI as in VICTORY, a guided exhibition tour, and a community conversation, the event creates space for dialogue around organic transition, agroecological practices, and the stories shaping Caribbean agriculture. It is an opportunity to foster meaningful connections and celebrate the people and landscapes cultivating resilient food systems across the Caribbean.
