About the Event

5:30pm Doors Open

6:00-7:30pm Artist Talk with Cofounders Steven and William Ladd

U.S. Virgin Islands Collaborative Scroll will be revealed.

We invite you to an inspiring artist talk to learn about the National Scrollathon program and see the scroll created to represent the U.S. Virgin Islands!

Scrollathon® is a multimedia, collaborative art project that brings together people from all walks of life to share stories, hopes, and dreams. Developed by artists Steven and William Ladd, the project uses hands-on techniques with found materials to create meaningful and beautiful works of art.

The National Scrollathon will culminate in a major exhibition at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., in summer 2026, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. Scrollathons will be hosted in all 50 states, Washington D.C., five inhabited territories, and Native Community Regional Centers—and we are thrilled that CMCArts has been selected as a host!
