Portrait of the Virgin Islands

Portrait of St. Croix celebrates Virgin Islands History month. It is an ongoing exhibition dedicated to celebrating Virgin Islands History and Culture. The territory officially recognizes March as Virgin Islands History Month. Created in 2006 by former Senator Shawn-Michael Malone, March allows recognition to the territorie's history and its history makers according to the current President of the Senate Kenneth L. Gittens (D).

We would like the community to be involved in growing this exhibition by submitting Photographs and stories that can help to document Virgin Islands History and help grow this page. If you would like to contribute, please click on this link (Email to Museum).  The Museum would like to thank the research staff at The St. Croix Landmarks Society and Stephanie Chalana Brown for their contribution to make this exhibition possible.
