Women Only Workshop 18+ Saturday, May 2 9:00am-2:00pm CMCArts St. Croix: Upstairs Exhibition Space (stairs only) & Courtyard Creative Sacred Flow: Movement, Color, & Sound is a multi-sensory workshop designed for women (18+) that will provide intentional self-restoration and a comprehensive nervous system reset. By integrating the deep resonance of a sound bath, the intuitive release of functional mobility, and the creative expression of tie-dying, participants will reconnect with their bodies, quiet their mind, and celebrate their artistic expression, creativity, and unique identity. Mobility and breath work: Targeted breathwork and movements to release tension in the body and promote joint fluidity. Creative custom craft: Participants will connect with their creativity to produce a multifunction tie-dye scarf by using one of two techniques—marble or sunburst. Participants will have the opportunity to use one of the following colors: red, yellow, or blue. Sound bath and meditation: To culminate the workshop, participants will engage in a sound bath and guided meditation that will reset the nervous system. Nourishment: A curated nourishing and energizing menu consisting of hot tea made from local herbs, unsweetened freshly made juice, salad, granola bars, fruit, soup, and mini naan will be available throughout the workshop. Take aways: Custom-dyed scarf, Goddess gift bag Goddess Gathering: Participants will meet 2 weeks after workshop at a location to be determined, to showcase their scarf worn and styled in their unique and fashionable way. About the Instructors: Aziza Auset is a holistic womb wellness practitioner, herbalist, and founder of The Blue Lotus, a women-centered space for self-care and womb health education. She is certified through the Ankh Academy of Wholistic Healing as a Holistic Detoxification Specialist and Holistic Womb Wellness Practitioner, and is dedicated to helping women reconnect with their bodies and inner wisdom. Nicole Crossman is a Registered Nurse focused on whole-person wellness, integrating physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. She also uses creative expression as a healing tool, sharing her tie-dye practice developed through training with Nigerian textile designer Tolulope Jasmine Oguns. Together, they are the co-founders of Cleansing Sistars, offering holistic experiences that support healing, self-discovery, and community connection.
