Service Description
Welcome Back to School! This workshop is being held for teachers & educators! 6:00pm-8:30pm CMCArts Courtyard, Enter from King Street This workshop is for Teachers Uncork your creativity! We mix a little mud with a little Merlot for a relaxed, laughter-filled night of pottery and play. Whether you’ve never touched clay or you’ve got a few pieces under your belt, this class is all about enjoying the process. We’ll cover basic pottery techniques and mix with Pinot. No experience needed, just a willingness to laugh, let loose, and create with a one-of-a-kind piece. We will design and decorate a necklace pendent along with earrings, backpack charms, OR zipper pulls. It will be left at the museum to dry, clear glaze, and fire in the kiln. You will then be notified when it is ready to pick up – generally, about two weeks. *Each participant will get to choose a glass of white wine, red wine, or non-alcoholic drink to enjoy during the art making process. Instructor: Donna Prock Donna has been involved in art since she was young starting with simple crafts. She enjoys working with all types of media to include paper, acrylic painting, resin, and other items to create pieces. Art has become her meditation; a world separate from the everyday as she focuses on bringing her visions to form.
