Join us for a magical, sun-powered art experience led by Bev Lewis. In this unique cyanotype workshop, you’ll use pre-treated 8.5 x 11 fabric and natural sunlight to create striking blue-and-white prints. By placing objects on the fabric to block the sun, you’ll develop one-of-a-kind images with beautiful, botanical or geometric silhouettes. Bev will provide a variety of items to work with, but you're encouraged to bring your own flat objects—like leaves, lace, or paper cutouts—for a personal touch. After exposing and rinsing your fabric, you'll finish your piece with vibrant fabric dyes to add even more color and character. What’s included: – One sheet of pre-treated cyanotype fabric (8.5 x 11) – Access to various objects for printing – Fabric dyes for finishing – Hands-on guidance and support from Bev Lewis Note: Items used for the prints should lie as flat as possible.
