About the Instructor: My name is Jona Siverly. I grew up on the ocean, living aboard a sailboat in the Caribbean. When we moved to St. Croix my art blossomed. The inspirations of the island and the new space allowed my creativity and talent to expand. I first worked with stained glass in 2020 and fell in love with the medium. Some of my first projects were intricate 3-D sculptures such as my jewelry trees and small boxes decorated with stained glass flowers. As I broadened my skills I began exploring resin art and mosaic designs. My largest piece so far has been a mosaic on a 9’ surf board of a resting mermaid.
