We’re kicking off a brand-new season of Friends in the Courtyard with a vibrant workshop led by local artist Tamara Michael! In this lively class, you’ll create your very own painted Moko Jumbie on wooden slats—celebrating one of St. Croix’s most iconic cultural traditions. Tamara will guide you step-by-step as you bring these towering guardians to life with bold colors and island spirit. No experience is needed—just bring your imagination and enjoy a morning of creativity, culture, and community. All materials are included, so you’ll leave with a finished piece of art that’s uniquely yours.
