Saturday, July 25 4pm-6pm Must be 14-18 years old. Remember to bring your cell phone for this workshop. Join CMCArts Artist-in-Residence Emmanuel Phillips for a hands-on photography experience designed for teens. Participants will learn practical tips for composing stronger photographs, working with light, and capturing compelling images. After a brief photography lesson, the group will head out on a guided walk through town to put their new skills into practice while exploring St. Croix through a creative lens. About the Instructor Emmanuel Phillips is a Virgin Islands-raised photographer and filmmaker from St. Thomas whose work focuses on visual storytelling, Caribbean culture, and social issues. His portfolio includes photography, music videos, fashion campaigns, commercial productions, and short films. Passionate about developing creative opportunities in the Virgin Islands, Emmanuel is dedicated to mentoring emerging artists and inspiring the next generation of photographers and filmmakers.
